Abstract |
In this research, the place and functions of simple adpositions in some Persian dialects of Khorasan have been studied. These dialects including Taibadi, Khafi, Delbari, Jami, Neishabouri, Kakhki, Ghuchani, Geziki, Tabasi, Ferdowsi, Sedei, dorohi and Adkani, have been mostly chosen from Razavi and Southern Khorasan and only one dialect has been chosen from northern Khorasan. The sources of the most data were the related theses and the small part of data was gathered through the native speakers of the dialects. The results of the study show that the variety of the simple adpositions in Khorasani Persian dialects is more than the standard Persian and there are some differences and distinctions in the functions in these dialects which cannot be seen in the standard Persian. Meanwhile some differences can be observed in the functions of the adposition in these dialects too. The preposition /be/(to), was the one which had the most varieties regarding its forms and functions and except the postposition /râ/, the other adpositons were placed before their noun phrases. |
