A comparative Study on Bilingual and Monolingual Children (four - five years) in Understanding and application the Embodiment metaphorical Phrases of Persian language

Abstract
A researcher saw with bilingual children in kindergartens Bilingual children Although many attempts are made to properly apply language rules, they can not be successful in understanding and applying metaphorical phrases like Persian language Monolingual children. Method: The method of this research is descriptive-experimental. The present study is based on the Bialka- Pikul (2003). According to the results of this study, bilingual children expressed more equalities than those with monolingual children in the metaphorical idiomatic expressions questionnaire and responded better than them. In the dual card test, bilingual children in the metaphor of taste had the highest score of 3.50 and the metaphor of the sound in the phrase with the lowest score of 1.10 points. But Bilingual children in the tactile metaphor with the lowest score of 2.16 and the taste metaphor with the score of 4 have earned the most points, and in total the rates of bilingual children Have been more successful. In general, bilingual children have more verbal and cognitive intelligence than those with monolingual children, because of better matching of metaphorical expressions. But they used the metaphorical phrases of children weaker than Monolingual children. Bilingual children in the dual card test received third-level privileges, and single-lingual children earned fourth-level privileges or full use of metaphorical expressions
